boxing is the only sport were fans think the past always wins. And the 70's fighters can beat every one. I dont know how this fight would go, but I do know Tyson was as good, as fast and hit just as hard as Ron Lyle ever did.

The early Tyson is an illusion, as he got barely hit. Once Georges tags him, it will be like a switch lighting inside Mike s fragile psyche and nothing will be the same.
When he met resistance, Mike often admitted to thinking giving up; he said so in " Fire and fear" by Torres, his close acquintance.

Tyson would get inside Foremans slow windmill punches and punish him. He punches a lot harder than Ron Lyle too. Tyson TKO5...

I saw a statement here that it will look like Tyson vs Berbick , moron , Foreman was no Berbick , 4 those who think Foreman "ate swarmers alive" because he destroyed Frazier*2 , Tyson was no Frazier .
I saw a statement that Tyson was stronger than Frazier and hence could match Foreman's strength . Fact was that Tyson didn't match Holyfield's strength and Holyfield was not as strong as Foreman . Due 2 size of course .
Overall , every1 who decisively picks a winner in this does not know 2 well what he's shitting about .

Mike could do everything George could do and twice as fast, and quite a few things he couldn't.

Prime Tyson gets criminally underrated, he could beat any heavyweight who ever lived on any given day and he would have crushed Holyfield.

Every fighter thinks of giving up, but when push came to shove Tyson stood in there and took a world of punishment before going down. Unless you want to count the Williams fight or one of those late career freakshows.

    Perhaps.
But in the heavyweights, one punch can change everything, and Mike has never been the strongest between the ears.

Transplant Holy s mind into Mike s body and you have an invincible fighter.

I know that Foreman was far better than Buster Douglass.

Let s take 13 years old Foreman, and teach him boxing like Cus D Amato knew, and have him face Mike when both are 20.

    Mmmm....

Versus Shavers? I would have Tyson by very brutal, classy KO in perhaps the first round. Second tops.
