    James. J. Corbett
    Bob Fitzsimmons
    Jim Jeffries
    Battling Jim Johnson
    Sam Mcvey @mcvey

Also, these matchups are fought wearing the gloves they wore in the early 20th century and you get to punch the man while he's down just like in olden times.

You'll shortly be accused of fanboyism and someone will bring up how Tillis lasted the distance

Corbett would be broken down, because he didn't have enough power to earn Tyson respect. He had fast legs but that's not enough against Tyson. He's skilled clincher, but likely not big enough to make it work. KO around 2-3 round.

Bob Fitzsimmons is likely not durable enough, although he's not without any chance with his power.

Jeffries is the best option here, because he's bigger and stronger. With 1900s rules, Jeffries would be able to grapple him a lot and wear him down in late rounds. This, or Tyson would dish out enough punishement to stop Jeffries in the middle of this fight.

I don't see Sam and Jim having any kind of success against Tyson.

The only person on that list who poses any threat to him is Jeffries.

Let's say that Jeffries really was the monster that people at the time said he was!

Jeffries with iron chin, powerfull punch and great stamina would last longer than 5 rounds and Tyson would be tired!Last rounds Jeffries would catch Tyson with right!
Other do not have chance! But Jeffries is someone that could take and last long because of chin and stamina and we know who past 5 with Tyson had good chance of winning like Tucker and Douglas did!

    OK my picks.
Corbett lasts 3rounds. Hed hold a lot, trying to slow Tyson down. This infuriate s him and has him throwing Corbett to the ground. In round three, JJC hits the floor against, but from a legitimate right cross.

Bob Fitzs. Ruby Rob attempts to nail Tyson coming in fast and actually has him briefly backed up. But like a wounded animal, Tyson hits back fast and has Fitz s spindly legs shaking. Tyson by ko 2.

James J Jeffries. A mauling type fight with both getting digs in. Tyson not actually looking very affective for long periods and resembles the Bonecrusher fight. It goes the distance with Jeffries losing but getting the moral victory.
Jim Johnson. Jim try s to make a fight of it but ends up being dropped several times. Tyson by ko 5.

Sam McVey. Surprisingly McVey puts on a better fight than all above, his style seems to trouble Tyson and his punches hit home often.
Tyson s corner are getting worried that he's being tagged to easily.
With mcvey dropping his hands more as he gains confidence, Tyson whips thru a greasy fast right hook. It hits the mark and poor Sam goes down like a chopped tree!
    Tyson ko 7

I don’t think they last very long except Jeffries...”Tyson is unstoppable” myth should have went out the window with Douglas. He knocks them all out because stylistically they wouldn’t be able to throw a punch that would hurt him nor throw a proper jab to keep him honest. Everyone round one KO. Jeffries makes it a few more.

Lol well maybe, but who knows tbh Jake?
I know, Tyson was a killer and chopped people down, but the old guys weren't made of cardboard, in a lot of ways they put up with more pain and punishment because their boxing styles were basic. If they'd be unable to soak it up, then most fights would be lucky to get to the second round.
But some fights lasted practically hours.
This isn't a blast at modern day guys or Tysons power, just maybe some do last a little longer than expected?
Anyway, I only had JJJ getting to the end! Lol

Tyson starts crying at the first headbutt in the turn of the centuries roughhouse style. Style too tough for mike. Jeffries BRUTALLY in 6. Tyson isn't showing McVey anything new. But the vice versa is true. McVey victory.
Tyson myth makers never stop. But it is a fantasy tyson you are talking about. Not the historical reality.

I don't believe anybody beats fantasy Tyson. He beats everyone who ever lived in a gauntlet on the same night... at the same time.

Yeah but Tyson with those small horse hair gloves and ATG punching power, speed and accuracy connecting on guys who were much smaller wouldn't be good for said smaller guys.
