Lets imagine Francois Botha had Lewis' power and height and Ali' speed. But Botha' skills, chin and stamina. Put him against Rooney's Tyson. Who wins?
What's the point of this dumbass question? Paul Spadafora would beat Duran if he had the speed of Camacho, the power of Edwin Rosario, and the reflexes of Wilfred Benitez... but he didn't. Botha was a mediocre fighter. I can't imagine him having non-mediocre qualities.
I'm just having fun trying to create the dumbest thread here (there were many recently), but no one is as dumb as you, blackhercules
Come on, guys. This is Rooney's Tyson we're talking about. Prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiime Tyson !!! Kid Dynamite ! That's a whole Lott of trouble for any fighter you Cay ton mention, or any you care to invent. Michael Gerard, Brownsville Baby. Puttin' *****s in body bags since '66. Aiiiiight.
I'd say Botha was an above average, solid gritty fighter. He gave some good fighters, good fights. He just didn't have big power, nor much speed. Make him as fast as Ali and as powerful as Lewis though ( ) and you have a guy that would clean out boxing.
