Check this one out. Great vid, with an abundance of some really great fighters. Incredible to see all of these guys in one place at one time.

It's pleasant to think some of the older guys like Ike Williams and Willie Pep living healthily into the 90's and beyond, and from the looks of it being relatively healthy and happy.

Thank you Russell! I love stuff like this....I've always loved the old pre-fight introductions with all those wonderful ex-champions entering the ring!

No problem, I adore stuff like that as well.

Stuff like this is important, and as I've gotten a little older I feel myself becoming more and more fond of boxing, especially, well, mostly nothing but it's past.

    Thanks for the post Russell!
It is amazing how some of these warriors seem relatively healthy after going through so many tough battles.

Yeah, me too...I've grown completely disinterested in the modern scene.

I notice that Jose Napoles seemed to be a little bit rotund,...but today, if you look at what he looks like as an older by 27 years silver fox, he's lost quite a bit of weight.

I truly do feel wow'ed seeing that much history in one place, especially given the circumstances of this being the very first celebration of it's kind of boxing. It's nice to see greatness appreciated after it's all said and done, I suppose. Men, and fighters like these, just don't exist anymore. They can't, the culture is too different, in the world at large and in boxing itself.

Boxing isn't what it used to be even 30 years ago (I'm 29, it really isn't that long ago is it?) in my opinion, but what would I know.
