If Graham had managed to get in to the British Middle weight madness era of the 90 s, how's he do? One of the best British fighters never to win a world title, does that change if he's thrown in against Benn, Eubank and Watson? These fights could have actually happened, and even though Herol was past his best year s by the early 90 s I give him a shot of beating Benn and possibly Watson.
I think he'd win them all. Benn has the best chance to score an upset because he had incredible power and could possibly do what Julian Jackson did. For the most part, Graham would school him though. I think Watson could give him a decent boxing match and lose on points. Eubank would lose a wide decision to Graham.
I give Graham a decent chance of victory over Benn who lost to eubank. Possibly in much the same way, counter punching him , shutting his eye then coming on to stop him around the tenth. I actually think the later version of Benn beats graham. Good tactical fight with him and Watson leading to a tight decision. Very close. Eubank, once again a hard fight but Graham could keep moving, snaking the Jab out and being elusive as ever. But the young version of eubank could catch u very quickly with that over hand right. He probably wouldn't ko graham but unsettle him. Another decision I believe but going to Graham.
Benn is the biggest threat, since when he lands, and he will at some point, Graham may not be able to handle it. Eubank would lose. To beat Graham you need to be active most of the fight. Graham wasnt someone you got to chase you and then sit back and soak it up from him. Finally Watson, the biggest conundrum since we dont know how good he really was going to be, I dont feel he had peaked, and was still able to give eubie Snr and co the fights of their lives. I'd say a draw between them. This is all at MW. At SMW and hypothetically higher, he'd lose his elusiveness to a degree, that which was the major factor in hmi winning against high calibre opposition.
