Tyson by KO. This was when Tyson was focused solely on boxing and had none of the soap opera distractions.

I can see why people would pick Tyson to win...but I'd still go with Holyfield. Part of me feels Tyson starts to deteriorate after he's being beaten....besides the fact I'm a Holyfield fan. But if somehow there was a time machine and this fight took place and Tyson did not have the problems in the ring he had later on, I wouldn't see Ali beating him, and a Ali circa 1980 would be put out the same way as Holmes....but there is no time machine so there isn't a real answer.

Holyfield caught Tyson at the right time in their real life bouts. However in this match up Tyson would win probbly by mid round ko.

Tyson, he was focused on the task at hand at the time. Tyson would overwhelm him with fast powerful combinations, I see Holyfield trying to go toe to toe with the Iron Mike which will lead to a flash knockdown, Holyfield will get up and proceed to get hit with punch after punch until the ref stops the fight, the fight will end somewhere between the 5th and the 7th.

holyfield liked to stand toe to toe way too much and tyson at the time could throw some insane combinations

One thing that was overrated was Mike Tyson's work rate. It was nothing spectacular. Evander Holyfeild's was never affected or really hurt by any punches Mike Tyson landed on him, when they fought. I believe Evander Holyfeild had a higher workout rate, and the better movement. The 1990 version of Evander Holyfeild was incredible light on his feet, underrated Hand speed.

"Wasn't he executed 20 punch combinations, against George Foreman"

People must understand that Evander Holyfeild beats Mike Tyson in a street fight, and beats him in the ring, is simply the tougher guy. In 1996 and 1997 these are crucial evidence. Evander Holyfeild bullied Mike Tyson, beat him at boxing. Took Mike Tyson punches

    "And there was no affect"

And Evander Holyfeild beat him at the street, threw him around like a rag doll, threw him against the ropes. When Mike Tyson attempted to get him in a arm lock.

It was a War, a fight.

Mike Tyson tried to BUTT Evander Holyfeild, and Evander Holyfeild butted him back, busted his eye open.

    "Mike Tyson broke down mentally"

And i always will say this that psychogically Evander Holyfeild and Lennox Lewis where the only fighters that truely beat/dominate Mike Tyson psycholgically.

In the Evander Holyfeild vs Mike Tyson rematch

Mike Tyson had big douts in his mind standind in that ring, knew Evander Holyfeild was not scared or intimidated. First time i ever saw Mike Tyson break eye contact in the stare down!!!

I believe this fight will be a rough house fight, mixed in there with some movement from Evander Holyfeild and boxing.

Evander Holyfield will beat him in boxing, and if Mike Tyson wants to take it down to the street. Evander Holyfield has been in there with 6"4 240+ fighters and handled himself. Was never man handled like Mike Tyson by any fighter, never dominated in clinches.

    Holyfeild Wins UD 12!!!!

Holyfield did win the first fight, but he butted Tyson out of his fight plan. In the first fight Tyson did hurt Holyfield, I think it was the 3rd round, but Holyfield weathered the storm.

As far as Holyfield winning the street fight, in the second fight he didnt win ****, Tyson bit him after he was butted, now thats a street fighting. Holyfield jumped up and down and didnt want to fight anymore, Tyson pushed him and said "Come on." Holyfield fought dirty and when Tyson reacted with his dirty tactic the fight was over, no one won that fight, and if the second fight was a street fight then Tyson won that one.

Evander Holyfeild beats Mike Tyson on the street He will beat Mike Tyson up in heaven.

Mike Tyson was cryinig after the rematch, Evander Holyfield won the boxing match and the fight. Mike Tyson was psychologically damaged from there first fight and the beating he took.

"Evander Holyfeild was never really hurt by Mike Tyson, his punches did not have the dramatic affect Mike Tyson would of like"

I think it was the 5th round you are talking about, Mike Tyson hit Evander Holyfeild with that doubled punch, he hit Frank Bruno with in their first encounter!!!

"Evander Holyfield stood there and bounce up and own on his toes in front of Mike Tyson "and stared at him", afew rounds later he started talking to Mike Tyson in the ring, while nailing him with double jabs"

Evander Holyfeild owned Mike Tyson, the man was crying like a bullied school kid after the rematch. Mike Tyson was trying to butt Evander Holyfield in their first fight and was coming off second best :yep ha ha ha ha ha

Evander Holyfield, street, ring, heaven. Beats up Mike Tyson!!!

Mr. Cool- I like both Holyfield and Tyson so I wont talk **** on rither of them. In a street fight anything is allowed, there are no rules. Holyfield butted Tyson, and Tyson bit him. Holyfield turned his back and jumped up and down, in a street fight he would of got knocked out and lost, Tyson wanted to keep fighting, but Holyfield didnt.

Holyfield won the first fight, he fouled better and won. Tyson wasnt going to take that **** the second time around, Holyfield was able to dish it, but he couldnt take it. Holyfield beat him in the ring 8 years past his prime, that doesnt mean he wouldve beat him in 87 or 88.
