Rahman is he current mandatory, John Ruiz was the last one, we've now got 2 WBA titles and the who Chagaev/Valuev thing left a very sour taste in my mouth. Ruiz seemed to get mandatory title fights on the back of losses...it was a complete joke.

I don't care about any belts be them alphabet or lineal. I think the man makes the belt today in the current climate.

Ideally it would work like ufc with the best fighting each other and the champion being clear. In today's climate though it's pretty much just pick the man you think is number 1.

Pick your number one applies to two guys Vitaly and Wladamir, no one else can even be thought of as a champion imo.

Andrew Golota got 3 title shots in a row, and this is how it basicaly happend, Lost to Tyson in 2000 then from 2000-2003 He didnt fight when He came back in 2003 a TKO and a KO to Two guys with a combined record of 50-23-1, Got an IBF title shot to Chris Byrd, then got the John Ruiz shot for the WBA belt, then got Lamon Brewster for the WBO title.
