I would have to go with Trinidad.

Whitaker is the master of all, but I give Tito more credit as the natural longer reigning WW.

    please note

This is the 1990's............the whole of the 1990's

For the poster who said prime Whitaker beats them all...........take into account all of the 1990's ...............who was the strongest force at welterweight overall

Whitaker was a little bit faded past 1995

    I actually chose Ike Quartey

I know he will probaly be the least popular choice

However I think he was stronger than both De La Hoya and Trinidad.........and I think he would have knocked Trinidad out

the greatest fighter is sweet pea, no doubt about it, but at 135. 135lb version beats all these guys. 147 gotta say oscar. he beat sweet pea in a close one and he got robbed vs. tito. then i'd have tito as 2nd best welter out of those 4. too bad tito vs. ike never happened

Whitaker was the greatest of these 4.

The greatest welter was DLH - he beat Whitaker and Quartey, and was ripped off against Trinidad.

Or you could say that he was "beat" by all three; depends on your interpretation of the fights; they were all very close affairs.

The Goldenboy, he beat Pernell Whitaker in a close fight, beat
Ike Quartey in a rough fight and was robbed in his fight with power punching Felix Trinidad

    :yep

the one I thought he wan there was Trinidad

but the other two.......could have gone either way

the nearest he got knocked out was Quartey who was so strong I think he would have knocked out De La Hoya and Trinidad if given half a chance
