Holyfield KO 10, gets his bell rung a couple of times getting there.

 

A fun fight where Evander outworks Shavers to a late stoppage or lopsided decision

 

A lot of big punches exchanged for about 6 or 7 rounds with both guys taking lumps. But shavers eventually gasses and gets finished

 

Holyfield against a fighter who is inferior in every way except for punching power? Yeah, not gonna go well for Shavers. Holyfield stops him once he gasses.

Holyfield is a tailor made nightmare for guys like Shavers.

 

Holyfield all day.

 

Those wild haymakers Shavers throws that leave him off balance when he misses, and he’s in the ring against a counterpuncher of Holyfield’s ability? Might not actually be a long fight.

 

I don't think Shavers makes it too far before getting knocked out. Maybe he'd have a Bert Cooper moment but at the same time, I kind of feel like Cooper was more dangerous than Shavers.

 

Shavers might land a big shot-but Holyfield would survive and eventually wear him down. Win for Evander by KO or stoppage in roughly 8-10 rounds.

 

Another vote for Holyfield. Holy didn't lose against guys like Shavers.

 

They were both black, I think.

 

Man, if you stand Bowe next to Shavers I can hardly tell the difference. I also think Bowe lost to Bob Stallings. The only difference is that Bowe liked burgers and Shavers liked acorns. But yeah, that's a good catch
