80s Tyson would brutalize Marciano. Hell, the Tyson who lost to Buster Douglas destroys him too.

    Would, could, should!

Lets focus on what people actually did!

Fans of old timers, sometimes cynically exploit the fact that the fighters that they admire, accomplished a lot more than the fighters that you admire!

Yet he couldn't brutalize any prime heavyweight hall of famer that he fought.

If old Foreman was 6'1 210 lbs then this thread would have been unanimous for Marciano. It's a shame how intimidated posters get by size.

What prime HW HOF did Marciano beat? Are you high?
The only fight between Prime HOF HWs in the 90s was Holyfield Bowe 1 if you consider Bowe a HOFer

But he wasnt 210. He was 250+.
Maybe you should spar with someone who can fight and has 70 pounds on you and is trying to knock you out. It will change your mind.

The prime heavyweight hall of famers that he fought were much tougher h2h matchups than Marciano, and Tyson was out of his prime himself. Tyson is all wrong for Marciano. He would do horrible things to him.

If old Foreman was 6'1 210 lbs, he'd have stuck to preaching and never resumed his fighting career. It's a shame how some posters ignore the obvious relevance of size.

You not only don't ignore it, you deem it the most important factor!

There isn't a single win that Tyson has that Marciano could get. Holyfield was not a tougher match up than Marciano. That's ludicrous.

Every Hall of Famer that Marciano beat was head and shoulders better than past prime fat Holmes and blown up Spinks.
