    …& the Old-Timers!

Old Foreman tackles John L. Sullivan, Jim Jeffries, & Jack Johnson in a series of 15-rounders. How does he fare?

In a modern boxing match it’s safe to favour George. Jeffries while having underrated defense was not unhittable and has not proven he has the chin to take a punch from a super heavyweight monster like George. I don’t think Johnson’s outside game is diverse enough to use lateral movement effectively and keep George at bay. I think he will get countered and timed eventually and when it’s done it will be lights out.

Sullivan is the most interesting matchup here, because from the descriptions of him it seems like he was genuinely pretty well rounded, fast and accurate. That said, he was still a rusher by all accounts and I don’t think he’s going to win that way against Foreman.

    Big George likely clears.

Johnson could be a problem for Foreman if he manages to hang around long enough
