1991 George Foreman vs 1991 Mike Tyson

Tyson 86/89 would most probably have defeated Foreman, but by 91 he was already showing signs of wear and tear and had struggled against a guy named Razor Ruddock, a fighter who was knocked out very easily by Lennox Lewis, so he'd become bigger but in reality he wasn't the fighter of years gone by, there was no head movement and as a result was easier to hit. Big G could have defeated Tyson in 91 but the 80's version is a different story....

Foreman was teak tough, but Tyson would score repeated to the body thru-out and every time Big George would try to unload those slow as mollasses punches of his, Tyson would crack him on the top of the head with an OH R or on the jaw with a L hook.

Tyson aint gonna get the KO. He wouldnt hurt George too badly to the body, and wouldnt score enough upstairs, but George wouldnt be able to find Tyson's somewhat breakable chin either, and it would go to the cards with Tyson clearly winning a 119-109 type decision.:think

Tyson, an avid boxing historian, knew that Foreman was wrong for him. Big, durable, freakishly strong and with super clubbing thundering skull cracking power. Tyson has to get in close, and when he does Foreman is going to bludgeon him.
I see Foreman weathering the early storm, and when Tyson's energy gets low, Foreman unleashes hell.

 

80's Tyson would have defeated Foreman but cum the 90's Big G would have had a chance...

 

I agree with that funnily enough and i am a Foreman fan. Frazier as tough as he was came in way too predictable and one dimensional and repeatedly did the same thing round after round which enabled Foreman to batter him at will. Tyson 86/88 was better than Frazier every which way, his combinations, power, chin and defence easily bested Frazier. Having said that i still think Foreman would win as Tyson 91 was already in decline though the fight would be very hard and a Tyson victory would not be out of the question. Foreman KO 7 Tyson.
