Ali had no trouble handling Foreman, snapping his head down getting a headlock

 

Firstly, that’s not how Ali beat him. He beat him by laying on the ropes and allowing a naive Foreman to gas himself.

Secondly, are you seriously comparing Ngannou to Muhammad Ali? Is this some sort of joke?

 

It's funny because the internet always try their hardest to convince people that Foreman was way bigger than Ali and like to act like current Usyk isn't the same size as 70's "Big" George Foreman.

 

This is true.

It's equally true that the clowns on the internet try their hardest to convince people that these so called supper heavyweights (Zhang, Fury, Ngannou LOL) would be able to physically manhandle greats of the not too distant past. The fact that there are people who genuinely think that Ngannou has any sort of hope against an ATG like Foreman is just hilarious.

Maybe. Maybe not. Can't leave your head unguarded, straight up, right in power punch range, against somebody like Foreman.

Worked against Fury, though.

 

Fury is pretty **** tbf.

 

It not only stopped, but it fell off the track, rolled down the hill, went into a lake, and sunk...never to be seen anywhere near that track again.

 

Ngannou just can't win this fight. Neither does he have that good chin, nor does skill that good, nor does Foreman have bad chin.
Foreman wins one way or another, and since Foreman is a great finisher he is more likely to win by knockout.

 

Francis is a pretty good proxy for what would happen to Foreman in the modern era. Francis is only slightly less skilled.

Remember how Ali was drilling Foreman with flush right hands in the first round in Zaire? That's pretty much what happened with Francis except the effect is much harder to shake off when Joshua is the one punching.
