    Very cool.

I especially liked the pre-fight with the soft-spoken Blocker and the reviews of his losses and bounceback. Absolutely brutal punching and knockouts are also excellent. Blocker just jabs, still not safe. Doesn't help that he sells his right hand as purely defensive for almost the whole fight. Worth the watch though.

I remember watching this live, and had never heard of Trinidad. Maybe in that broadcast I'd learned he was the son of a guy who'd once lost to Salvador Sanchez, so thought that was interesting. Then half an hour later I'm sitting there thinking "Oh look, he's killed Maurice Blocker."

Not that Blocker was anything special, but you could tell Trinidad was going to be a big thing.

Was Trinidad s moment to shine. Blocker had gone the distance with Honeyghan so this impressed me.

Remember this live didnt think a lot of Blocker but had never heard of Trinidad and the way he just obliterated him was insane.

Trinidad has become ridiculously underrated these days ... at welter he never lost ... he was a very tough, murderous two handed punching machine .. slick and fast .. ge then went up to 154 and ruined two very tough guys in Vargas and Reid .. his destruction of Joppy at middleweight was brutal as well .. his later losses to Wright and Hopkins were simply losing to two excellent bigger men.

I saw this bout on Showtime live, and recorded this fight with my Zenith VCR in 1993. A great impressive win for Tito Trinidad, one of my favorites of the 1990's.

Blocker was a pretty good fighter. Believe he was a good friend of Marlon Starling’s too. Saw a few fights of his back in the day. But he was simply overmatched against Felix Trinidad

I was with Tito last month in Puerto Rico and asked him what was his greatest moment in the ring and he said this fight because of his proud he was of his dad to have trained a champion.

    Blocker looks like he's 40, not 30.
