This is one of the most absurd statements I've ever read on here, and believe me, it has some stiff competition.

You think the c.185lbs Marciano, who went 49-0 in the HW division fighting men bigger and heavier than him more often than not, was a contender for worst p4p champion, when the c.260lbs Primo Canera went 88-14, with some of those wins possibly fixes, against fighters virtually exclusively much smaller and lighter than him?

Marciano a contender for being a worse champion than the 26-17-3 Leon Spinks?

BTW, Canera is also far from the worse world champion in boxing history. I don't think Spinks is the worst, p4p, either.

    What a dreadful, idiotic post.

Look, Marciano would'n go 5 rounds with Carnera. An in-shape Leon Spinks would stop Marciano late in the fight. Michael Spinks would stop Marciano faster than stoppede Cooney. BTW, second rate Cooney would stop Marciano like he stoppede Norton. Marciano, well, the so called 'big' men he faced were 3. rater, clumsy no hopers, and they were not that big. Marciano feasted on old smallis heavyweights, old timers af beefed up lightheavyweigts. Marciano, great thoug guy, who would get beat up by today's local 240 pound bouncer.

You used the term pound for pound. Do you know what that term means?

Yes. And I stand by my words. I do believe Marciano was one of the worst champions ever. I believe Marciano would have lost to 95 % of all champions, pound for pound, he really was that bad. To place him among an all time list of greats is an insult to the really greats. I don't care for the words of Foreman, who said this and that. Privately he just laughed because he was able to sell more grills to stupid working class americans, who trusted his words and bought his grill. Most of todays welters would be able to outpoint Marciano, he really was that bad.

Primo Canera had c75lbs on Marciano and yet he lost to multiple fighters worse than multiple fighters Rocky beat. Not worse p4p, worse at HW.

Marciano is on a different planet to Canera (who is far from the worst champion) p4p.

You're either not very bright, a troll or both.

If you think so poorly of Marciano, why would you even ask? Are you trying to convince yourself?

Rocky was 184 lbs. That's a small cruiserweight by modern standards and you, (and many on this site) keep comparing him to super heavyweights.

I'll say this: Rocky, despite his size, would not have been KO'ed by Hasim Rahman like glass-jawed Lennox was. Rocky would have taken care of Rahman like Tua did.
