    Dokes was fat and washed up in 1993, that's why chicken Bowe and his Manager wanted to fight him instead of Lewis.

    Prime for prime in my opinion Dokes beats Tucker..

    Thanks for talking about Dynamite Dokes. Rarely is he given any remembrances.

    He is a Heavyweight who was well known; thus he gets far more kudos than most...

    Bowe - Dokes took place less than three months after Bowe beat Holyfield. He was entitled to a 'gimme' defense and I commend him for getting back into the ring so soon after winning the title.

    Dokes was riding 9 straight wins, including one over next Bowe victim Jesse Ferguson. In 10 years, 10 active years, he'd only lost to Holyfield and Ruddock. On paper it didn't look like too bad of a fight.

    In 1993 Tucker beats post-Bowe Dokes easily.

    Do you remember Dokes fight against I think the guys name was John Gardner???:huh, and i think he was from Europe?
