Same question as before but now if the fight happened in 1995.

While I liked Bowe to take the fight in 93, I like Lewis in 95.

Lewis was now hitting his prime, he had Steward, and his jab and defense had improved enough that I think he would outpoint Bowe in 95.

    Prediction - Lewis UD - 116-112, 116-112, 115-113

Again I am curious to see how the votes go in this and how they go in 93. I suspect Lewis will take both polls, but that the 93 vote will be closer. We'll see.

i would've rather seen it in '93...and Lewis still would've won, Bowe stayed away from big punchers on his skill level for a reason...

Lewis by brutal KO. Bowe was a sitting duck for Lewis' right hand by that point, he would get taken apart.

I agree, Lewis in 95. Bowe was fat and lazy by then.

At least it wouldn't be as bad a pummeling for Bowe as if it was in '96.

Bowe should've fought Lewis rather than Golota, but Main Events had to stick their oar in. At least it would've been a clean knockout, rather than 16 rounds of brain-busting torture he got from Golota.

No doubt that politics ruined several potential great fights in the early to mid 90s

To not get Bowe/Lewis at some point was ridiculous, just as it was to not get a Lewis/Tyson a few years before they finally fought, or even a Tyson/Bowe in 95 maybe

I don't see any version of Bowe being able to handle Lewis.
