1995 "Iron" Mike Tyson "He's Back" Old School Gangsta Entrance Video

I will never forget watching the Spinks fight... Tyson won that fight before he was even in the ring. Spinks was white as a ghost and looked like he would have rather have been anywhere else in the world at that moment. I also remember when he beat Holmes and Holmes said he was going home to have a party after the fight. It must have been a stress relief to know the fight (that Holmes was probably not looking forward to) was over. Tyson used to be one scary dude.

 

Wow, that guy was wired like a coke fiend. Someone gave him some serious **** before the fight.

 

dude, why dont you shoot yourself in the head, tyson can kill you with one punch im sure, you should respect stronger people

 

Have followed Tyson's career start to finish, I can say that this is absolutely true. A Tyson fight was truly an event - something that got you literally tingling with excitement anticipating how quickly he would blow out his opponent.

This is why the Douglas fight - at the time - was such a shocking upset. I remember leaving my apartment to go over my brother's place to watch the fight. My roommates, who weren't really hardcore boxing fans, were talking with me about how long the fight would last. We all pretty much agreed that Douglas would be out of there before round 5.

Well, by the fifth round, I was grabbing my brother's arm saying something like "holy ****, Tyson's losing!" :scaredas:

Tyson created excitement, like no fighter I have seen in my 35 years of following boxing - win or lose.

i forget witch fight it was, but didnt tyson come out to a 2pac song, and 2pac wrote it JUST for that reason too, i think the song is called "road to glory"?
