Jesus PP for every half decent thought provoking post you come out with its like you absolutely must come back with exactly 3 gems like these to tip the balance.

Vasquez would give too much pressure for the nancy boy and stop him.

    1. Vasquez was much beter than you give him credit for.
    2. 1995 Vasquez was significantly better than 2007 DLH
    3. Vasquez was always a better 154 pounder than Vasquez

    :deal

I am very aware of Vasquez abilities and resume ive probably seen him more than most.
What makes you think any different?
Hes just happened to be matched with someone in a different league in this fight.
The 2002 version Of Oscar might have stopped Vasquez, the 2007 version wins a decision.

A 2002 DLH couldn't even ko a past prime Javier Castillejo - a fighter Vasquez beat comfortably whilst in his prime and in his back yard - so how the hell is Oscar going to knock out a 1995 Vasquez?

You know what Vasquez had a tough chin but it could be dented. I saw Vasquez badly hurt and dropped by some Russina kid :huh and if that was Oscar he would have finished him off. Also Castallejo was more experienced when he fought Oscar and Not peaking when he lost to Vasquez. One other thing Oscar almost stopped Castallejo who was as tough as Vasquez(Chin WIse). Vasquez would have engaged OScar more than Castallejo therefore becoming more succeptible to being stopped.

Also i said he might have stopped him im 50/50 on a stoppage.

Castallejo was not past his prime Oscar just made him look that way.

Also one other thing you said a 95 Vasquez well Vasquez was kod in 96 by Boudauni who was a good puncher but not half the fighter as even a faded Oscar and believe this Oscar would have found his way to Vasquez chin more than Boudani did.

Ps i will admit Vasquez in his prime was better than Boudani.

I take it you're talking about the Dottuev fight. I haven't seen it so I can't comment. I'll try and track it down though and bring this point back up when I've seen it. :good

Castillejo to me looked much better against Vasquez than he did against Oscar. He had more experience against Oscar yes, but physically, he was much slower.
