I think Povetkin's chin would be tested and its not the best as we saw vs. Wlad. I think Lewis has to survive the early storm and then can take out Povetkin in the later rounds.

lol, Pedvetkin isn't even the best heavyweight of a terrible era, and you're putting him up against an ATG?

Lewis brutally stops him in the first half of the fight without having to change out of his lounge suit....

1995 Lewis is already pretty prime. I love Povetkin, but Lewis should win - with the caveat that he takes the fight as seriously as he should. A disinterested Lewis could find himself McCalled. So Povetkin would certainly have a chance ... but you'd put your oney on Lewis if you had to bet.

I think it would have been quite a good fight, actually. Povetkin always brings it, and Lewis wouldn't be able to poke around all day at long range, he'd have to engage in trench warfare.

lets see, wlad handled Pedvetkin with some difficulty for a points win. So chubby boy gets easily killed by ATGs.

Povetkin lost 12-zip to Wlad. Why he's put in match-ups like this is beyond me.

Wlad and Lewis fight nothing alike. Why you bother making comments like this is what's beyond me.

Unless, of course, Povetkin happens to hit damn hard (check) and Lewis has nobbut an average chin (check) and Lewis has been KO'd before by punchers (check).

    Try again, Herol.

Wlad cheated 12 - zip. His only way of winning. Povetkin knocks him out cold in a clean match.
95 Lewis has issues with Povetkin , but 96 and beyond leave Povetkin flat on his back after 8 rounds.

Are you trying to claim a 95 and 96 LL are quite different??? LL was peaked in 95', 93, to 00'ish. Just because he went in to a couple fights unprepared vs very much lower level fighters in no way means there was a true difference between 95' ll and 97' ll.

The opponents had much to do with his mindset
