Sure, but with no Roids he'd be gassed out mid fight, and Lewis would see it and start teeing off on him. I don't see Povetkin being that competitive in the 90's. That decade was hot! I also think the Golotas and Mavrovics of the world beat Povetkin imo.

 

Golota was inconsistent and a mental midget, he might beat Povetkin but he could also get knocked out. Mavrovic is that eras equivalent of Wach or Duhaupas. Definitely can't see him beating Povetkin. Povetkin would be somewhere around the top 10-15 in the 90s or any other era.

 

ANY version of Lewis or Bowe destroys Povetkin.

I don't see it. Povetkin when he was perceived to be a clean fighter had higher % of body fat and struggled with stamina. In the 90's era there would have been far better fighters that would have exploited that. Lewis after the McCall fight fought smarter picked his shots better and if he got you hurt he finished you. A gassed Povetkin would be a sitting duck imo. A PED infused Povetkin is a different story.

Mavrovic was more like a HW Dimitry Pirog. A very talented boxer who was forced to retire. Wach and Duhaupas are Steve Zouski type guys and nowhere close to his level .
