I thought it would have been an awesome fight at the time. The Golota who twice battered Bowe against the Holyfield who twice tamed Tyson. Style-wise, I think Holyfield is the type of opponent that Golota would have looked good against. But ultimately, I think Holyfield wins this one way or another.
1996 Holyfield was still too close to his prime. With that heart Golota would outbox him, but wouldn't discourage him, and then Golota starts to breakdown mentally. I saw Holyfield tko 8.
Yea Golota would give him a good beating, but Holyfield was too tough and would eventually break him and stop him
Golota only froze against big punchers so Holyfield would be in for a rough night. On a fight that would be competitive and score close somehow Golota as usual would somehow get himself disq.
Guys, the 1996 Holyfield would destroy any Golota .. you are talking about the most courageous fighter of all time against the biggest dog in heavyweight history .. Holyfield , unless he had a heart attack in the ring, would make Golota quit in under ten rounds. Who did Golota ever beat ? No one.
