Nobody punches themselves out unless they have to.

The excuse is used to give Wlad a free pass for losing to Brewster.

The high punch out put and fatigue was forced upon him.

Nobody punches themselves out if they don't need to.

You are living in a Dream World HerolGee. You are not listening to what I say-at all.

Once again, Wlad is not my man. You should just say "whoops, i totally spaced on what you said, projetcing all kinds of intent & defenses upon him that you never expressed".

    I'll try once more.

I ONLY said that punching oneself out is a real thing.
There was zero direct or implicit defense of Wlad.

There was *no* "spin", ever. That is your imagination.

I had not at all addressed it originally, but sure, it was a mistake & lack of competency to punch himself out then.

He certainly has limitations. Also some of the greatest fighters ever had many of them. Ali was a headhunter even absent great power, blacking & parrying deficient, did many things technically incorrect such as leaning back from punches, did not fight inside...But how he did it & what he did well meant he was at least close to GOAT.
We cannot just add up what we like or not, usually based upon emotional bias, & know well how good someone is.
We could say Marciano was slow, small, tiny reach, innacurate, limited balance....And easily an ATG.

Anyway I almost despair of telling you this, because without having now to say AGAIN that I am not implying Wlad is great or ranking him at all.

Don't tell me again how I am defending Wlad or his problems. You have been UNABLE to even understand I am not defending him or ranking him high.

And given the emotional tone & lack of attention to detail, I do not believe your opinions can be unbiased-though they may or may not be coincidently fairly acurate in some cases.

Now as per another poster: often folks punch themselves out due to pressure.

But it is untrue that some do not do this absent pressure or when they "have to". Some are aggressive when they could be measured due to styles & emotion. Like Foreman, just one example was when taunted by Ali.

He later ocercompensated out of fear of exhaustion, but he had tended to go all out instead of a more measured attack. His reliance on the jab & softening combinations with straight punnches was limited/inconsistent. He was just overall such a force that he was still clearly an ATG.

Hey Herol, you realize that is the last fight Wlad has lost and it was in 2004, right? Keep holding onto that one if it makes you feel good though:rofl

Wlad would the favorite for me 96 tyson was not the real Mike but if focused he might could stop wlad in 3 to 5 because 96 tyson was a fast starting Brawler but after 5 to 6 Tyson was done

96 Tyson was like a shiny Cadillac with no engine, he loses big. Prime Tyson is another subject
