How would the post-prime but still good version of Tyson from 1995-1997 do against current Anthony Joshua? Tyson wasn't completely shot in 1996 - certainly not to the extent he was when he fought Lewis in 2002. He was still able to recapture the title and compete at a world-class level in 1996, and was the favorite against Holyfield, though wasn't really up to par with the likes of Holyfield or Lewis by this point in his career. By 1996 his head movement wasn't as good and he didn't really jab that much or have blazingly quick combos, but he still had a lot of KO power, decent speed and ring IQ. Klitschko was 41 against Joshua and he wasn't in his prime anymore but I'd still say that the version of Klitschko that fought Joshua was better than the 1996 version of Tyson. Klitschko's prime wasn't that long ago, he peaked and matured in his late 30's so he was only slightly past his best. How would Joshua do against the 1996 version of Mike Tyson? Does this go similar to Tyson vs Bruno did in 96?
Tyson would still be a dangerous opponent to AJ at that point and Tyson still had to be fought in a specific way. This could end with Tyson still stopping AJ but AJ would have a better chance to beat this Tyson than a 1986 Tyson.
