This is a bit less convincing, akin to Lennox Lewis statements prior to the Vitali klitschko fight saying he's in his best shape ever and "the best of Lennox Lewis is yet to come". And thousands of other pre-fight statements.
Dont you get tired of making yourself look silly? I know it kills you to give Tyson any kind of credit, but its time to move on.
Why would exposing you as a blatant hypocrite make me "look silly"? :deal Why don't you tell me the reasons a fighter makes excuses after a fight, seeing as you AGREE with me on that point. No, you don't "know" that. You're just continuing to make **** up, as you always do when people don't buy into your bull**** fabrications. The only one in this thread looking for excuses not to give a fighter credit is the person in your mirror.
I pretty much have to agree with this too. It's one thing to argue speculation, but when a fight says what he thinks is the truth, and he appears to have no ulterior motive, it seems to me one should take it at face value. So if Rudddock himself said the Tyson fights damaged him then I personally have no reason to think this isn't true, especially if these comments were made years later, and not just spur of the moment reaction comments, which often take place either before or after a fight.
It's kinda obvious the Tyson fights took more out of Ruddock. You can't honestly say the Lewis fight did more. Ruddock took one good shot and some follow up shots from Lewis and that was it. Tyson punished and battered him from pillar to post for 12 rounds in the second fight. The state of his face afterwards tells the story.
Keep digging M2Sense, you're almost to China. Regardless of where you dug that up, and in what context it was used, theres still a monumental difference of a fighter looking back on his career after its over and assessing it, a concept you seem to be the only one having trouble grasping in this thread. Yes its pretty clear you're one of the biggest Tyson haters on this forum. Make **** up? I posted a quote from the fighter himself after he retired. Im not selling anything, just stating the facts. Actually the contrary would be true. This goes out to M2Sense, lets all sing it together for M2Sense now.... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PivWY9wn5ps[/ame]
What for? How many more examples of your hypocrisy do you want to see? NOT according to you - when it suits you to say so, at least. No, that's still your own fabrication no matter how many times you repeat it. Actually you didn't; you posted an uncited and unspecific reference to quotes on his wikipedia page, the validity of which is questioned by the site's editors on its Discussion page. The only actual quotes from the fighter himself were the ones in my post. Not according to you: :deal Prove it.
Yes M2Sense its all a big conspiracy to make you look like the nitwit you are in this thread. I think you shoud contact Razor Ruddock immediately or investigate these mysterious, uncited, and unspecified quotes, because they're so far off base in the context of what went down in Ruddocks career. Heres another quote for you to investigate. "Ruddock never looked the same fighter again and some boxing insiders felt his fights with Tyson had finished him"
You mean like the big conspiracy you just got done claiming happened before the fight to make you look like a nitwit? No, that's not the quote. You cropped a part of it out: "Ruddock never looked the same fighter again and some boxing insiders[who?] felt his fights with Tyson had finished him ." So not only are you a blatant hypocrite, but an outright liar.
Ok since you refuse to accept the truth, let me remind you of how this thread went down. Just using common sense and following a fighters career I came to the conclusion that: Shortly before that, not reading the quote I found on his wiki page, I posted this: But than wallaa off of the internet, posted on his wiki page I found this. Holy ****, that not surprisingly jived with exactly what I said, and not suprisingly and as usual, not with what you posted. So get your facts straight spin man. Maybe you failed to read what others posted in regards to this, like: and, and this to your post: and this also to your post agreeing with the above post: and this: So unless you want to continue making yourself look like a fool, disputing something thats been posted on a website long before this thread took place, drop it, or find closure by contacting Razor Ruddock, so he can put your senseless mind to rest. :dead This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
ruddock was finished after the tyson fights his punch resistance had evaporated completely and i think the clink ruined tyson 4 years is too long to be out the ring especialy for someone with tysons style who relied heavily on speed and reflexes lewis on the other hand improved with age lewis was better at 35 than he was when he beat ruddock
No, I refuse to accept your exposed lies, blatant double standards, and shaky attempts at providing "evidence." There's a difference. Yes, you found exactly the kinds of comments you've dismissed as typical and unreliable from fighters in other threads. And in response I posted a more verifiable and definitive statement from the fighter that jived with what I said and not with what you had; and you unsurprisingly invented some spin job as to why in your world the statement you posted "mattered" and why the one I did somehow "didn't." Apparently you did too: Like the way you make yourself look like a fool by disputing something that the fighter actually SAID in a newspaper report long before that website existed?
Noone invented anything, "everyone else" just agreed with the the obvious. You on the other hand, have some personal problems you need to deal with. Seek help immediately.
So now what others posted only means something when it suits you, correct? You mean the same "everyone else" you're now contradicting as well? :deal
