    That team was a great team. The DC area brought home 3 medals in that Olympics, 2 Gold and Coach Mooney's Silver. And he did that with only 30 some odd fights and sick as a dog.

    This team plus the 1984 Olympic team are the best ever assembled. Look at that team, Leonard, Davis jr and Spinks alone make it great.

    NO, the USA Boycotted the Olympics in the USSR, ironically in part because the USSR invaded Afghanistan...;)
