    nice, you have to put down hopkins career to defend calzaghe. i would be trying to talk up hopkins' career if i were you. it's joe's best win.

    So when exactly should Calzaghe vs Mitchell have been stopped? When Joe landed his 878th consecutive unanswered punch?

    i'm pretty sure bika wasn't ranked when he fought calzaghe. he got ranked later on after he won the contender. this is all at 168. bhop was obviously the champ at 175 and jones was ranked #6 when they fought. anyway, i think the point has been made. again, joe was a good fighter but anyone that has him ranked in their top 100 atgs like i've seen on these boards is either in denial or knows very little about the history of the sport.
