Lennox was in a focus measured boxing mind vs Golota and then BOOM, the Foreman vs Lyle bout was a street fight who gonna give ground first, so i say a measured Lennox as he was on Golota fight night, beats the Lyle of january 76.

Lewis all day everyday. That version of Lewis was a very efficient fighter with very few flaws, especially when he felt the fear. Not many heavyweights would be favourite against him in that form if you are objective about it. Certainly not Lyle.

Who exactly intimidated Lewis? He beat a who's who of destruction and came back to beat those who beat him, hardly an easy task in the intimidation stakes. Lewis beat a collection of some of the biggest hitters ever. Smashed some of them to a pulp.

I personally put Prime Lewis as my #1 HW of all time. This opinion does not make me popular or respected, but I maintain it nonetheless.

It's an opinion which can be backed up by a solid argument. Now if you said that Trevor Berbick was your #1 HW of all time, that'd cause some riots around here.

This version of Lewis may possibly be able to get Lyle out of there earlier than that.

Lewis would start out fast and strike first ., if he hurts Lyle early he'll win .So I'm going with Lewis ko 2 .

It's a very valid opinion, mate. I almost agree as well. A focussed and well-trained Lewis had it all, including a good chin, contrary to popular belief. Unfortunately he blew hot and cold and never put an extended run of form together. If he had, he would be in the frame to be a popular consensus #1.

One thing I do think though. Lewis is not intimidated by Lyle. Never mind that Lyle was in prison. It's a boxing match not a glaring competition or a push up contest. At the same age as Ron was busy being the alpha male in the prison yard, Lennox was sparring with and fighting some of the best heavyweight boxers in the world, many of whom would have ruled the prison yard too.

I don't think Ruddock would've done too badly in prison

Lennox Lewis at his worst McCall and Rahman fights Lyle would have a
definite punchers chance of a upset. However the focused Lewis of their
rematches and Golota fight would be too technical and would methodically
breakdown Lyle and stop him in 6 rds.
