League Proposal

RE: Women Boxing


To add interest and fairness to all promoters, the league is proposing the following amendments:

Amendment A:

All promoters are allowed to draft a maximum of 2 women boxers. Women boxers will be at the same price increments as male boxers.

Amendment B:

The league will house a women boxing draft, a quick ONE round, 2 selection per promoter draft. If promoter does not wish to have a woman boxer on their roster, they can deny their respective draft pick. This pick is then automatically deleted. These draft picks can only be traded for other draft picks in the women boxing draft, and not for other boxers (male or female).

*** League will offer a comprehensive list of female boxers.

Amendment C:

Promoter, moparfan will keep his women boxer selection, but will be fined a set amount of $3,000,000 + 1 Top 40 male boxer. The infraction stems from not properly mentioning the women boxers addition to the league. The 1 Top 40 male boxer will be placed on waivers.

Amendment D:

Any Promoter that wants to add a different woman boxer, other than those on their roster, MUST waive-not release-a woman boxer from their roster first.

 

Let's see what everyone else thinks...I was thinking 3 women, but I didn't want to sound greedy.

I'm just trying to make it fair to everyone. I know women boxing isn't that popular, and with male boxing atleast we can go by level of opponents if we need too...!!!

Please Note:

If the women's boxing amendments get passed:


Andy Lee is the Top 20 boxer that I waived.


Therefore, he will be removed from the list of 6 I have to offer per waiver draft rules.

Lee will be replaced by:

CW Alexey Zubov in the draft

 

There is 2 different types of waiving a boxer:

In this instance:

Financial Loans
a) Promoters can apply for financial loans at any time
b) Promoters using financial loans MUST waive at minimum one top 20 ranked boxer
c) Promoter using financial loans MUST pay back league within a 6 month time-limit from time loan was granted.
d) The percentage league charges on the loan will be a flat fee of 10%
e) Promoter using financial that wins an award will receive the full monetary compensation
f) Promoter can use financial loans up to 2 times in ONE year
g) Boxer is priced at 10% of original price



Means Lee will be valued at $1,000,000 (10% of original price) and the lowest to highest ranked promoter has a chance to sign him.

So whoever is in last place get first dibs, escalating up to the Top rated promoter (unless boxer is signed).



The other version of waiving a fighter is:

Participants are alloted the opportunity to waive any of their boxers at any time.
Waived boxers can be signed starting with the lowest ranked Participant, upwards to the highest ranked Participant, pending financial ability.
a) Promoter waiving a fighter will receive not receive pay from the league, yet
a 1) Promoter will lose said fighters record, unless
a 2) Boxer has an injury sustained in a sanctioned match, for that year
b) Boxer's record will transfer over to new promoter
c) Promoter(s) can only waive FOUR boxers per calendar year
c 1) Promoter(s) decide whether to waive or release said boxer


If boxer is signed by a lower ranked opponent, original owner can either
a). Re-sign boxer, resulting in a $10,000 penalty to the league
b). Allow boxer to be signed, signer pays league $5,000 waiver fee*

*Waiver fee is reimbursed to Participant if said boxer:
a). Is signed for a minimum of ONE calendar month
b) Boxer has a sanctioned fight under new promotional company
c). Boxer is traded to another promotional company

Means if I waive BOXER A, and he is signed by another promoter. If BOXER A is 1-0 1 KO, that will transfer over to the new promoter unless BOXER A is injured in a fight.

Also means if I don't want a promoter to have BOXER A, I can re-sign waived boxer, but I pay a $10,000 fee.

So, say I waive Mayweather....and CST signs him, I can re-sign Mayweather, stopping CST from having him.

New promoter only has to pay $5,000 for waived boxer. But new promoter gets that money if he keeps the boxer for one month or one fight or is traded.

This keeps promoters from signing all the free agents, waived boxers


Released boxers are recognized as free agents and
a) Can be signed by any promoter, depending on financial ability
b) Will not incur a penalty fee to the league
c) Record will be acquired by new promote


Means if you release a boxer, you lose their record (Wins Only, Losses are permanent).

Say I have a boxer that goes 1 win and 3 losses, I release him, on my record I show 0 wins 3 losses.

New promoter record shows 1win 3 losses.
