had 1st fight today in a home show, did quite well after watching some of the other fighters win and a few lose theres beforehand, i felt confident going in, jabbed well, the guy had fought previously and he came out trying to tag me with big rights and get inside, he managed a few times and i did cheat due to nerves i held the back of his head and punched got a warning for that. i felt pretty tired going into last round even though the fight wasnt that energetic and fast paced, probably the clinching and maybe the heat. anyway got the ud, i think i won the first 2 rounds well but when i had chance to attack him in the third my footwork let me down, luckily he was knackered as well and didnt captilize . all in all boxed well, but need to work on fitness big time and throwing more punches. in my head it was a close one like a draw, or close decision but alot of people said i picked him off well. might be able to get a video on here soon.

Congrats on the win and getting the first fight out the way. Probably the reason you were tired going into the third round is likely due to all the nerves beforehand eating into your energy levels. That's nothing new and should improve as you get more fights under your belt.

Now you know the importance of conditioning and how being in better condition really helps when going the distance. Good job.
