This is a fascinating match up (for me), two skillfull, wilfull southpaws.

Arcari is the more straight forward of the two, moving in, blocking and parrying punches behind a high guard and looking to find space on the inside to work the body, pushing fighters back towards the ropes with a nice jab in the process.

Lane is more the herky jerky lateral mover, working the jab and looking to find spots to counter and flurry.

Both men are quite hittable, and shouldn't have too much trouble landing on each other (Arcari especially because he pulls back with his head up after throwing punches and Lane because he often leaves himself exposed whilst looking to fire off combos in flurries).

Both men had vulnerabilities relating to their ability to get hit, Kenny in that he could be hurt with a good shot, and Acari in that he could cut rather easy (he pulled a bit of a Chavez-Randall II against Rene Roque, though Arcari was probably slightly ahead - unlike Chavez).

In this fight, i'm tempted to go with Lane via a close decision. Whilst Arcari had the ability to win, I think Lane had too much experience for him, and proved himself against much better competition. I think Lane will draw upon that experience to sucker Arcari in and outbox him on the way to a decision: 8 rounds to 5 and 2 even.

Dam SS, ive gotten until the last bout of the first round being able to give opinions on each bout, and i dont know enough of these two stylistically to do so here. You will have to settle for half a point here from me!

Arcari imo, i think his pressure may pull it off?

Why couldnt you just give me something like Hurtardo versus Witter??!!

Kidding, half a point it is!!

Haha, those type of matches are reserved for PowerPuncher's 140 tournament.

That's a full vote by the way, you gave a reason why, nothing says it has to be a totally informed one.:good

Kenny Lane does everything that Arcari does only a little bit better behind his beautiful combinations. A comfortable 15 round decision or late stoppage on cuts for Kenny. BTW, Sweet, good breakdown on your take of the fight.

Arcari left almost zero impression on me.

His fight with Adigue is oen of the worst i've ever seen.

    Lane by comfortable decision.
