1st Round - 140 Pound Tourney - Meldrick Taylor vs. Esteban DeJesus

Taylor's speed and sheer output get the better of the match for me by solid decision.

 

I think the early going will be close with Esteban's experience offsetting Taylor's tremendous speed. But the workrate & Taylor's constant activity will wear on DeJesus, who is a little above his natural weight. Going into the late rounds Taylor should open up a gap. A DeJesus left hook may produce a knockdown to get the score close, but Meldrick should squeek by with a tight decision at the end.
