    15 rounds. Who takes it?

If you don't give a reason for your opinion, your opinion will only carry half a vote :good

Canzoneri wins by virtue of being 10X the fighter Hatton could've ever hoped to be. What else need be said?

Canzoneri TKO 9. He'd put a major hurt on Hatton on the way in and stop him in a one sided fight.

Not even a challenge. Hatton would just get destroyed before the end of the 10th round whether it is a 12 or 15 rounds bout.

Hatton outworks Canzoneri to a decision. Tony will happily agree to slug it out, but he doesn't have enough power to do enough damage for stoppage. Bass gave Canzoneri hell in later rounds of their fight (despite having broken right collarbone in the 3rd round), but he wasn't as ferocious as Hatton, and was considerably smaller too. The Whitechapel Whirlwind gave Canzoneri a terrible beating in their 1st meeting. There are more examples.

canzoneri is the better fighter but I agree that this wasn't his best weight and that hatton would be uge at the weight in comparison. i think this would be too much for canzoneri who was a man who came to fight.

I have to reluctantly pick Hatton by late stoppage.

Hatton is 1 of the strongest most relentless fighters at this weight, and he has very underrated boxing skills. He also closes the gap very fast and is a monumental bodypuncher. Canzoneri was also not particularly good at the weight, hell Hatton even has a height and reach advantage, something he never has, Canzoneri is just going to get mauled. KO6 after Hatton breaking him down round after round

Some laughable picks on here seriously underrated Hatton against this featherweight

Hatton can win this, man i hate Hatton, but i think he can win this. I also think that Canzoneri could, but he'd have to really plant them on Hatton's chin time and again. As it is, i think Hatton too strong, outworks his man to a decision. *******O!

    Hatton

Hatton not half the fighter Canzoneri was in greatness terms though.

Canzoneri has way more variety than Hatton. However, I do believe Hatton will be there at the final bell with Canzoneri sticking to boxing once he feels what a tank Hatton is. Canzoneri W15 Hatton.

Tough fight but Canzoneri´s superior skills and experience will earn him a decision. Close but clear.

There's enough film on Canzoneri and his resume far outshines Hatton's. I don't think it's a matter of underrating Hatton but respecting what Canzoneri accomplished.

Most people are looking at his resume, without having a clue about in which of those bouts at boxrec Canzoneri's opponent was a swarmer, and what happened in those fights.

Canzoneri is a natural featherweight and Hatton is a light welter who weighs 155lbs of solid muscle on fight night, due to day before weigh ins and dehydrating. Hatton is at least 2 weight classes bigger, more like 3-4weight classes bigger. No chance Tony can keep him off or exchange with the bigger man

And thats not even to mention Hatton's wins over Tyszu and Castillo, which equal any name on Canzoneri's resume, he also won 1/3 of the rounds against a bigger (to canzoneri) superior Mayweather.

I think this thread is a advocation of picking any top 30s fighter over basic common sense. A good big man beats a good small man
