Yea, that 8 looks like it was changed to a 9. The handwriting on the 9 is a bit different from the other 9's and the 9 is nice and bolded. Don't know why the guy changed it, it would have been a draw anyway. Also, that 1 looks a lot different then the other 1's he wrote down. Looks as though that 2 was a 1.
That sheet was not written by the judges but by somebody who took the three judge's card and wrote what they scored. The guy actually did a mistake transcripting (I don't know which round though) and had to correct it. Still, a 10-9 in the 1st round is quiet incredible considering.
there the scorecards , thats the end of the story bhop won this thread is a lie and your a know nothing ****
It was not hand written by the judges. It is the same handwriting on all the columns. Don't take it so intensely and personal, it is not good for your hart. Still how can you give a 10-9 in the 1st round.
the rule is not score a knockdown and you win 10-8 its score a knockdown and win the round (exclude the kd from your thinking if possible and score the round ) and score a knockdown so 10-9 is just as easy to compryhend as 2 judges having a wide and clear fight even
Wouldn't it be 10-10 then? But a 10-9, what is the logic? It was even and Pascal got the KD? So then, why crying about the other even round?
ya 10-9 is the right score. Go check Jim gray interview, how he's sweet compare to Pascal. The fight end's up with a shot in the back of the head with SHOWTIME but ya, fine, no canadian around, so guys let's move on.... First time of my life saw a close round end up 10-9 after a knockdown. Amen this fight took place just before Hopkins/Pascal and don't forget how Jim is so sweet when he wants.(Maybe he has manners after all) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0capZigX8l8[/ame]
Hopkins was winning the 1st but not in a dominant fashion to score it 10-9 Pascal after KD. I had it 10-8. Look at the 4th round of Adamek-Cunningham. USS was dominant but he was caught by Tomasz late and it was legit 10-9 Adamek round.
So if a fighting is winning the round and gets knocked down it can be scored 10-9? If so that's fair for this round.
The thing is that you CAN score a 10-9 round for the guy who knocked out the other guy, but usually, judges in Quebec just give a 10-8 round except if the fighter that went to the canvas was absolutely destroying the other boxer. Every boxing federation has its lore.
