no way he's still young, give him a good education fighting Jon Thaxton, Alex Arthur, Kevin Mitchell and the like. Put him in against good fighters like that and let him gain experience. He's still a kid, 21 is no age.

im extremly impressed with him. i think he should fight winner of mitchell johansen and fight thaxton. then win a european title defend it, fight a few top tenners, win the title, and hopefully he could eventually...down the road /...have a big massive all british title fight with john murray :)! then move up in weight. and then live happily ever afta.

what a suprise...earl thought the stoppage was premature.

very impressive performance by khan but he still have to beat thaxton to be undisputedly the best LW in britain.

Excellent performance from Khan. Speed and power. He knocked Earl around like a rag doll. No way was it a premature stoppage.
If Khan can improve his defence and keep developing as he has been doing I'm sure he will be a WBO champion within two years.

If I was Warren, the Rees fight would be next for Khan.

AA would ko khan he's far to strong. lets not get carried away khan done well but earl was finished i hope he has the sense to retire. AA has said this week he will be moving up 2 light weight soon but i cant see FW allowing khan v arthur.

    Cheers Max:good

Earl was simply all wrong for Khan, too small & tiny arms. Khan was always going to make him pay on the outside.

Great win though for Khan, he used his reach advantage to the full & finished Earl off with a performance I would describe as frighteningly good!
Khans record is very impressive now, hes got some big domestic scalps. Im going to use the same word again, but its FRIGHTENING to think how good Khan can become. This kid is the real deal, & its about time people realised it.

Poor Earl was so punch drunk when he came out in the first round, I don't think he new he was supposed to actually be in a fight. I can't blame Amir, but all he did was carry on straight where Katsidis left off.
He was so shot I refuse to believe he looked ok in training, I only hope he got very well paid.

This is hilarious from Graham "72 Seconds"
    Earl-

"Amir’s good but he’s not at my level yet"

“I hope that when I’ve beaten Amir that Frank Warren will give me another shot at Katsidis,”

    "I’m world-rated"

    Amir Khan-

“The best thing he could have done is pack it in because I’m going to make him retire.”

Its clear to see who was talking sense...
