    Well, exactly a month after the Inoue fight Japan certainly is willing to provide entertainment often.

    Certainly not the worst opponent for Nakatani to stay active and someone who's win might age well in the future plus a near guaranteed banger between two aggressive fighters with history in Tsutsumi and Higa.
    Although not a title fight, Moloney vs Nasukawa will be something I'll keep an eye on to see how much he can do as a boxer at world level. Good for Moloney to score multiple decent Japan cash, popularity wise among the casuals, Tenshin is likely the second most known boxer after Inoue due to his kickboxing fame.

    This might be the first time nakatani will fight someone the same size tho there's only 2 names i can recognize on his resume. Havent watched how good he is yet

    Was hoping to see Nakatani unify but there's never a bad time to beat an undefeated Mexican.

    He is superbly talented, but has been hot and cold thus far. I think he will shine here against Maloney and smoke the Aussie, but it´s a big step up in competition.
    Nasukawa seems to be missing that something, and I can´t put my finger on what it is. I think it might be his inexperience in boxing, he seems kinda unsure at times.

    I was talking about Cuellar and you seem to be mixing up the fights. Moloney will fight nasukawa, not nakatani

    idk, Higa retired after the loss to Takei, so I'm not sure how much of his heart is still in it. Having one foot out the door against somebody as relentless as Tsutsumi is a recipe for disaster.

    If anything having what truly will likely be his last chance at a title again probably gives him even more motivation. Despite the loss, I think the Takei fight is the best fight Higa has shown in years, and he was out to get that belt.

    Given his age and history he probably thought the Takei fight will be his final chance at a world title again ever, and after the loss he was just really heartbroken and said it on the whim. Its not like he was inactive for over a year then coming back, but his last fight was literally just 3 month ago in September so when he got the offer he probably was still very fit anyway.
