if it wasnt for the title My initial recation might of been that it was a couple of spastics in an institution larking about during an unsupervised exercise break ! luckily we know that horseplay in the gym means very little to a fighters capabilities in the ring for real.
Well some people take these horse playing clips and act like thats how Greb looks in a real fight. We have plenty of fighters playing around with the old timers. Dempsey and Carp with Jack McAuliffe, Marciano playing around with Dempsey. Ali playing around with Marciano, Robinson playing around with a total shot Pep, And in most cases, the champ or non retire fighter looks awful because he is not going ALL out on the older fighter. Just think what the news papers would say if Gene Tunney ko Corbett??/ O Brien at the time has been in retirement. His prime was the 1900's. Early 1900's. Not the mid to late 1920's. A good 27 year gap between this sparing sesson.
It would be like the Joe Frazier of today sparring with Jean Mak Mormeck. Nobody would get hurt and you sure as hell would not judge either fighter on it.
I don't see what's so bad about it. It's clearly just a mess around, a quick exercise of speed and trickery.
