With Manny coming back on Nov.5th & Ward/Kovalev scheduled for 2 weeks later WTF?

Will one be regulated to regular HBO status or will they make us pay for both?

Because fugg the Pacquiao fight if that's the case.

Ward v kova is a superfight and a genuine pickem fight.

Pac needs to fight crawford to be able to realistically compete with it. If he takes on someone like vargas he will simply only pull numbers based off of his own name.

If pac fights on PPV it will do far more than Ward-Kov, despite that being a better fight.

There is no way in hell HBO is doing PPVs within two weeks of each other. Not gonna happen. One of those fights is gonna be WCB...

If Pac comes back, that PPV will win and the numbers won't be close.

HBO is barely even promoting Kovalev-Ward, which should be the showcase fight of the year for them. The build-up thus far has been mediocre at best, terrible at worst. I thought one of the advantages to signing this in advance would be to get the hype train rolling earlier for it.

Pac never left, he's pretty much on his regular schedule.

Remember how Froch-Ward was hyped before Froch-Johnson and Ward-Abraham even happened?

That's exactly where we should be at for Ward-Kovalev. But HBO / boxing media are not pushing it, and so no build-up to look at.

Which makes you wonder why they booked Kovalev-Ward so close to it in the first place. The Pac fight is going to cannibalize the hell out of that fight.
