I agree, Fury is a KO waiting to happen.
There's no doubt Wlad will connect from range.

If its a dirty "fight" from the get-go its a interesting match-up.
I just think there's no boxers out there that can trouble Wlad.
We've seen the best in with him.

    Haye,Povetkin
    Pulev

No reason to stick any of them in with him any time soon.

Give some of the other contenders a shot.

The Fury-Wlad build-up may be better than the actual fight itself.
I'd rather watch new stuff then the shitfest what was Haye vs Wlad or Povotkin vs Wlad.

Fury can beat Wlad with the reasons I've already stated.
Wlad is favorite sure, like in all his fights.
I just think fury can have some success against him and would love to see him try.

I don't mind rematches when it merits one. Pac-Marquez for example.
Haye vs Wlad doesn't need seeing again.
Povetkin vs Wlad doesn't need seeing again.
I'd watch Pulev vs Wald again because he did have some success in there.
20 fight novice lowering his hands after ref breaks!
Cost him a few knock downs.

He can improve, I think he will.

You think Pulev could do better, yet Povetkin could not? :blood

You thought Pulev had more glimmers of success?

Ward is in a similar position to Wlad.

    Froch number 2 guy?
We don't want to watch Froch vs Ward again because its a formality.

I think Povetkin reached his peak years ago and can't improve on anything to beat Wald.
You said it yourself, you're waiting for Wald to deteriorate before the rematch!

Pulev is a 21 fight novice and there's room for improvement.
    Lowering his hands?
    Rookie mistake.
Pulev's jab did some damage i felt, also some of his rough-house tactics did.
right before the KO, Wlad was hurt.
Hurt much more than anytime during his fight vs Haye or Povetkin imo.

:lol:So, not only is adjusting forbidden to boxers on ESB they are also disallowed from having an ****nal of punches in their reportoire.

This s#it would be genuinely amusing if it wasn't so sad.

Censorship taken a step too far ESB perhaps.

Quite frankly its a good job there's very few fighters called Justin or Frank 'cos the site is on the verge of becoming a laughing stock. All the while the site owners hide like rabbits in their ****** instead of adjusting to deal with the issue like adults.

EDIT : nice to see that some of the more absurd auto-editing programming has been corrected on the site, but it's clear a little work remains.

Spot on. Reading through this thread and wondering when it was that Fury became this world cl***, brutal brawler who has mastered the sweet science?

Klitschko would KO Fury within 4 rounds - and Fury wouldn't win a single minute of the fight before the KO either. Guaranteed.

I also suspect Fury will lose to Anthony Joshua before he ever gets on the level to fight Wlad.

New Ring magazine rankings are published.

    #1 Alexander Povetkin
    #2 Bermane Stiverne
    #3 Kubrat Pulev

    The rest in unchanged.

Well, as predicted, Pulev is now relegated to #3 (still rightfully ahead of Fury and Jennings).

Povetkin pretty much untouchable as the #1 contender, while Stiverne moved up a spot by default.

They got the top 5 right, although the rest is pretty much out of order (Arreola being top 10 is laughable, and obviously Takam has to be included, at #6).

As for the upcoming fights, the winner of Solis-Thompson II could maybe sneak into the list. Also if Chisora defeats Fury, he obviously qualifies for the top 10. If Fury wins, he may surpass Pulev at #3 (I personally wouldn't place him that high, but it's possible that the Ring would do it).

I think Povetkin beats everyone bar Wlad, most by savage KO.
