We two great fighters who incidentally fought each other, were so rugged
that in about 275 total fights, we were NEVER stopped until we both met our last opponents who were alltime great punchers...Who were we ?

I been working away at this one. Started thinking Armstrong. Then Saddler, Pep, Moore and still no cigar.

    Just a guess.

    Tony Canzoneri and Lou Ambers.

were only ko'd by their last opponents, Al Davis & Lew Jenkins

I think your right. Al Davis stopped Canzoneri in the 3rd round in Canzoneri's last fight. Lew Jenkins actually stopped Lou Ambers twice but it fits the criteria because Jenkins was Ambers last opponent and the only fighter who stopped Ambers.

Bingo EM, you nailed it!. Tony Canzoneri a truly great lightweight was a
shot fighter who was kod by Al [Bummy Davis] in his 175th and last bout.
Tony went to the well once to often.
His great underated rival Lou Ambers was never kod til he fought the
wild man puncher Lew Jenkins in his 99th and 100th last bouts...Jenkins when sober hit as hard as any LW, and ko'd Ambers twice, a feat a prime
    Henry Armstrong never achieved...:good
