    i dont no weather many watched pro box live in limerick , ireland but cuban /irish heavyweight mike perez boxed and won by ko,does this happen much? i think he would walk the next heavyweight prize fighter

    It doesn't happen very often anymore, but his opponents were in such a class that it's not such big a deal. Certainly the second opponent was a human punchbag. But still, better guys like this than guys who fight once a year.

    He was out for over year so I think it was a good idea to knock of some ring rust. No point in coming back off a long lay-off and stopping a fella inside a round and not fight again for a couple months.

    he boxed a total of 4 rounds didnt he

    1 six rounder against a durable journeyman would been better

    this is blatant record building

    I always thought it would be badass for someone if they had say two belts, to fight two mandatories in one night to get them out of the way. E.g. I'm sure Pavlik could have polished off two people at the standard of Lockett in one night.

    This is blatant filling in the gaps on an undercard that lost some fighters due to injury.

    Not much better.
