Or we could see Geale go home, realise what he did wrong, train for a different fight and implement a different strategy. We've seen it before. Mayweather v Castillo. Tough first bout. Dominates second time round. Tarver v Jones. Michalczewski v Rocchgianni. Froch v Kessler. All these fights were tough, dour affairs first time round where part II was different. I'm sure there are heap more examples.
Bowe vs Holyfield I don't know mate, i think Geale has got about as good as he is going to get, whilst Barker will improve. Geale has been doing the same old thing for a while now with very slight improvements. Perhaps and only Perhaps if he worked on his power he might have a shot. What i find funny about this is everyone's focus on the 12th round yet 2 of the judges gave Geale 2 of the first 3 rounds, which is rubbish so its karma in some ways for Geale.
Yeah - no way Geale lost the last round BUT having watched the fight a few times - hard to score it with him winning as well - maybe the judges Added their scores N thought no way this guy deserves to win so rightly decided to give the fight to Barker.
Yeah, think so... In the second half of the fight, Geale was too reactive, he was getting off second and it cost him the fight. I think both blokes are around similar ability and Barker just fought a smarter fight.. Geale needs to initiate more exchanges if he is to win the second time around. If Geale has to rematch Barker in the UK, he best just move on though IMO.
One of the judges gave 2 of the first 3 rounds to Geale. That is utter rubbish. Barker won the first 3 at a canter. Dodgy scoring on the 12th is karma
Can't disagree with that as i had Barker clearly winning 2 and 3 and slightly winning the first. At best Geale may have got a 10-10 for the first rd if you were being kind.
