i know this aint the answer but i heard somewhere a few years back that SRL and Benitez were brothers-in-law. Ive never found evidence to substantiate this claim. Can anyone shed any light?

After Burts question gets answered first of course (that means you bukkake and HH)

B, you are my alter ego ! Yes of course the two brother in-laws were tami Mauriello and Steve Belloise. They were two sensational knockout
artists in the 160 lb division, being groomed for a championship title. But
those days the best fought the best and tami Mauriello who I saw later on as a heavyweight Kod Steve Belloise in 1941. Later on they both had good careers, but never won a title...B, your'e good.:good

Burt.. do you know, if they were actually brother-in-laws at the time they fought each other - or did that come later?

B, I would assume they were brother in-laws at that time, otherwise it
would have been meaningless later on as Mauriello, became a heavyweight contender , while Steve Belloise remained a middleweight. Their paths never crossed again. So yes, i would say they were related at the time of their bout in 1941, when Tami Mauriello Kod Belloise in round one...b.b.

Just to let you know, I am very good friends with Steve Belloise's daughter, as she is my secretary with the NJ Boxing Hall of Fame. I never heard that he was the brother-in-law of Tami Mauriello, so just to make sure, I called her and she said that is not true.

She also said that back in the 1940's there was a rumor that her father was going out with Tami's sister, But that was also not true.

I will be with Steve's daughter tomorrow night, so if you have any questions about this Please let me know and we will get back to you.

So Steve Belloise and Tami Mauriello were never brother-in-laws and were never related to each other in any way.

It only goes to show you that you can't always believe what's written on the internet. Google is only as good as the information that people put in.

hh, i got this information on the internet 'bioigraphy" of Tami Mauriello.
Quote : " On 14,March 1941,Mauriello Knocked down his brother in -law
Steve Belloise, Five times, before knocking him out at 2:59 of the first round ". Unquote...This mini biography has been on the internet for a
good while. We who were not privy, must get our info from others..b.b.

I know where you got it because I also saw that many years ago and I asked Steve's daughter about it at the time. She told me then, and she also told me tonight that this was not true.

Like I stated before, you can't always believe what you read.

I am going go try to correct this for her if I can.
