Bika has long been underrated by casuals. Awkward, dirty and horrible to watch though. So the less said about him the better. I think it is time to stop the bazillion Calzaghe threads now.

Some people wrongly think he's a p4p god, others wrongly act like he was a bum. Turns out he was a good champion. Let's just leave it at that.

 

Wait the same lacy who was eating huge rights and lefts from Ruben Williams until they prematurely stopped the fight. I thought to myself yet another hyped yet tough man for claz to slap around and claim he's an all time great. His best win to date was a mid 40's version of Hopkins which when looking at it in proper perspective is quite an awesome win for him.

 

I've never heard someone seriously claim he's anywhere near the greatest of all time that's just delusional.

You could argue his godly rep can be best summed up to a hof career and a top 3 super middle (all-time) keep in mind the division has only been around since the late to mid 80's. I wouldn't insult anyone who supports joes claim at the top spot of the divisions history since its still building a legacy. You can also sprinkle in that prior to the 168lb division most potential super middle participants would have fought at 175lbs and then you can ask yourself how would have joe faired against the likes of Ezzard Charles, Micheal Spinks, Bob Foster and Matt Saad Muhammed. I'm only mentioning those who I've seen grace the ring others like Archie Moore, Sam Langford and company are sorta outa my expertise.
