in my opinion, mayorga is the closest thing to mike tyson in terms of behaivior (deffinetley not in accomplishments) then any other boxer i have seen. he was once arguably the baddest man on the planet beating vernon forrest twice and then due to bad habbits and usuccessfull choices, he is now the primary stepping stone to elite fighters that are trying to get back in to the spot light. to me his is exactly like tyson in his circus like curios behaiviors which inable his to play his dark horse role perfectly angering his opponent and magnifies his greatest chance at winning, which is his dangerous power in the first 4 rounds.... very tyson. 1. do you think this fight against vargas is unfair to mayorga? his glory days where at 147 and even then he had trouble with a good boxer like cory spinks. now he is going 21lbs up in weight to fight someone bigger stronger and possibly better skilled then spinks? 2. how would the mayorga at 147 have done against some of the other heavy hitters of his time that he wasent able to fight like teddy reid, antonio diaz, antonio margarito and as a throw in fight... ricky hatton.
