I'm just curious how people feel about Canelos chances vs Lara. Lara is good but I don't think he is as good as everyone thinks in my opinion. I feel like he's very spotty in how he fights.

Well if Molina could beat Lara and Angulo also almost beat Lara, Then Canelo also has a shot.

    Canelo will trash Lara

If Angulo can demand a small ass ring so Lara can't use his footwork properly then Canelo will probably demand a phone booth

Canelo is way better fighter than el Perro, so with nowhere to run, no inside game and a glass jaw, it's just a matter of time before Lara goes night night

You must wear very strong perscription glasses to think that Angulo ALMOST beat Lara. :rofl
Even with the two knockdowns, and if Lara hadn't TKO'ed Angulo, he would still have lost on points.

Lara is that good but and canelo will have a punchers chance best way is to make traps for lara and to the ropes. can canelo catch Lara tho and have the stamina to pressure for all three minutes of a round like angulo did. great match up. i got it a hard match up with slight edge to lara. Canelo did do a better job on angulo but styles makes fight we all know this.

Lara's a vey live underdog here.

    But an underdog nonetheless.

Style-wise, Lara has all the tools to beat Canelo handily. Canelo has struggled against every boxer-type he's faced(Gomez, Trout, Floyd). He's longer, faster, and lengthier than Canelo. Whether Lara delivers the performance needed...more debatable. As others have said, some of his showings have been spotty. If he's on form, I'd expect a near shutout win.

Let them fight, and we'll find out! It's a good compelling fight, like Garcia vs Matthysse...

Let it happen, and we'll talk

Yes he does have a good chance. I would stay away from Kirkland for now. Nothing to win there. Kirkland erratic life is a problem. We don't really know how long is he going to be around

there is only reason why lara probably will win and thats bc of his footwork, he moves as much as floyd does. canelo is flat flooted and will have trouble setting up his bombs.

i dont think there are many people who can beat lara from 154-160
