Your damn right, the last thing Wlad needs is a fast young aggressive puncher like David Haye, it might actually force him to break a sweat during title defenses.

If this is true then it's a **** move by Wlad. It's not like there's many other options out there for him to fight! Does anyone really want to see him fight Arreola ffs? or MASKAEV??? :scaredas:

Hell yeah! I mean... Why on earth would Wlad want a rematch? Then... why on earth would Haye want to fight Vitali next to sure up the Heavyweight division as well as getting a crack at the WBC title as well? WHAT A BUNCH OF BULL****! It's almost like they are giving Haye a chance to be the Undisputed Champion or something!

... and to think that Haye agreed to that idea.:patsch

If Wlad's backing out there's only one solution:

Haye must fight and defeat Wlad's mandatory. Wlad refuses, he's stripped.

I genuinely believe Wlad doesn't fancy the job v Haye. He's looking for a way for it to fall through.

Then why the rematch clause? Why is he not confident enough just to sign for one fight?

Someone please explain this better to me.

If Haye beats Wlad, he has the belt.
Haye is the Champ and Wlad is the Mando.
If he beats Wlad again, he keeps the belts.
If he beats Vitali, he STILL has the belts and gains Vitali's.

How would Wlad be Hayes mandatory if Haye wins?
Or is that another clause in the contract? :hey

    Justify TWO rematch lcauses.

I thought Haye was being a dick about money - but ANY rematch clause is a joke, 2 is just stupid.

He isn't fighting Maskaev, that is Vitali who has Oleg as a second mandatory after the Gomez fight.

And the best in the heavyweights isn't Haye, not yet. I would be more impressed with fights against Chagaev, Povetkin and Chambers if he beats Peter.

AMAGAWD, the day has come where I finally agree with something DINAMITA says.

    Credit where credits due.

That is the most bizarre knockdown of all time. He kind of just...jumps?
