ummm...hatton was just cheering on a fellow mancunian. don't get excited. is it me or are the scottish only happy when they think they're being hated?

this was a great fight. AA didn't perform as well as in his last fight, and Foster jnr really brought it and looked like he'd picked up a few dirty tricks from hatton or something.

however, i didn't like the way AA continually complained to the ref after the first points deduction. everytime foster's head went within a centimeter of arthurs chin, AA would snap his head back whilst looking at the ref for help! and the time foster hit him on the belt at the side, and AA doubled over clutching his balls...it seemed to me he wanted to get foster DQ'd or at least have further points deducted.

I'm sure arthur will be glad to have got this fight behind him, and when guzman inevitably moves up to lightweight, arthur will inherit the championship a la maccarinelli.

As i said already anything less than a stunning KO and the jury is out.Arthur needed to put Foster away if he wants to be taken seriously.Has he been exposed? Not really as he was already exposed BADLY by Gomez. In that fight he couldnt defend a left hook to save his life and just ate punch after punch. To get knocked down and then cling to semi lifesaving UD is not good for a guy that has world title asperations.Im off this gravy train for good thats for sure.

I don't think he's been exposed, I've always felt that this is pretty much his level until he proves otherwise.

if he inherits the wbo title he won't have to prove anything for a while. unless he moves upto lightweight.

In the 'old' days he'd have been called a European level fighter, things are more complicated now but thats basically how I look at him.

Arthur has been stuck at this level for 4-5 years and clearly going nowhere. Hes 29 and Warren has done nothing with him lol. and the gomez set back was over 4 years ago..

As for calzaghe and the welsh lads well they can play holding hands with there english counterparts as they seem to be doing recently we will stick to our own!!

How is Hatton "dissing" you scots exactly? Is he not entitled to support a fellow manc?

Hey Dunky, il be straight with you, we are Celtic brothers after all..:yep

I didnt realise you were a big AA fan, but should have guess:lol: In fairness, Hatton may know Foster or whatever, they are both Manchester lads like someone else said. Do you really think Hatton hates the Scotish? Maybe thats a tad paranoid, i dont know, you may have evidence but surely him cheering on Foster doesnt mean he hates the Scotish!!

He was in Ireland cheering on Macklin too, i wouldnt read much into it Dunky!!

He got what was coming to him last week anyways when the check left introduced him to the ringpost and im sure thats the main thing on his mind, not hating the Scotish... But my, what a sweet moment that was last weekend:D

Was at the Meadowbank last night guys, great night, although was so smashed started to lose consciousness just after the Lockett bout.

    Verdict from ringside;

*Lockett no.1 challenger in the WBO. Oh dear god. He's just a grade D robot.
*John Simpson did not perform as well as i'd hoped, but the boy he was fighting done well when the odds were stacked against him.
*Burns has stayed still for the past year. Unfortunately Mitchell outpoints him easily on that performance.
*Some of you are going way overboard on Arthur. He didn't perform that great, but lets not foget he was fighting huggy bear part 2 in there. We where ****ing furious, are all Mank fighters that bad with there care bear technique? In times of adversity Arthur showed some excellent technique and his range of different punches is unmatched by anything else in the UK at 130. Im not saying he is world class, no he is not, but give credit where credit is due to a technically talented fighter from Scotland, they don't come around often. I was screaming for him to lift his left up, after the fourth Alex dominated by simply using his superior movement and skills, however his ****ing casualness will be his downfall if he doesnt get this sorted out.
