exactly. Duva sitting there making a big deal and Taylor looks over at him. Facts are that if Taylor won that one fight it still did not guarantee him ATG. His career after that was mixed with dissapointment and losses. Even had he beaten Chavez he would have had to win a rematch, which he probably would have been stopped. Then he would have lost to Norris again and had the same type of losses he had later. Taylor was good but if you notice he always had his face busted up in fights-his defense was not great, yet he had great inside handspeed.

 

That was a sad day in boxing. It was a terrible stoppage and it ruined Taylor's career. The guy fought the fight of his life and he deserved his win and his time in the sun, however brief that time may have been.


Nah haven't read the book. Is the thread title the name of it? I might check it out.
