Miguel Cotto vs Alphonso Gomez (WBA welterweight championship)
Kermit Cintron vs Antonio Margarito (IBF welterweight championship)

I know there are alot of Cotto fans here. I like his work ethic & boxing ability, too. But I'm afraid I'm gonna be rooting for Gomez in this one. After his ass kicking of Gatti, I became a real fan. Hope he puts on a good performance.

The other one is gonna be wild, I think. Margarito is as slow as Molasses pouring in January, & Cintron has to keep his dominating KO style going. Man, if he KO's margo, can you say

I'm pulling for Cintron but when the going gets tough...I could see him folding like an envelope against Margo. I say Margo TKO 8.

Cotto should blast away a live underdog in Gomez, especially if he has plans to eventually try and position himself for a fight with PBF.

honestly, not trying to sound rude or sick but i actually fear for gomez' life in this one. cotto doesnt have the one punch ko power to blast him right out of there and gomez has the heart to stay around even when he is hurt. he is terribly overmatched and i have a bad feeling this is gonna turn out like darchinyan and bargos. as for the other fight, i am hoping for a cintron win though i expect margo to knock him out again but we wont see either of the two fighting mayweather probably ever in my opinion

Margo is gonna spank Cintron like his ***** and even though I hate to say it Cotto is gonna take an easy victory, but unlike Cintron....Gomez is gonna take it like a man!

Anybody going to AC to see these fights? Seems like a good night of boxing on the Jersey shore.

And the beauty of this day is that Showtime also has their card with Tarver-Woods and Dawson-Johnson.

2 good cards on the same night. I love it.

WOW! Didn't realize that. Tarver-Woods could be fun, but I think Dawson is gonna make Johnson look like an old man out there.

I plan on going to the Cott/Gomez fight.

I'm taking Cotto and Cintron as the winners.

That's not necessarily a good thing when there's always the possibility of spoilers. Also not a good thing when there's no fights on HBO or Showtime in the previous two weeks (March 29th, April 5th).
